SOLD!! to Sunnyhills Alpacas at the CANADIAN NATIONAL SELECT SALE - APRIL 9, 2016
It is NOT easy say good bye to a favorite alpaca, especially by auction, but it is with sheer delight that we hand over Genessa's lead to Kevin and Leanne Sept of Sunnyhills Alpacas. The extra miles that they go to continue to improve both their own herd of exceptional alpacas, and the entire Canadian alpaca industry will take our beloved Genessa and her offspring to the next level of excellence!! Thank you for bidding on her but even more THANKYOU for making this weekend happen and Congratulations Kevin and Leanne.
THANKYOU and Congratulations Kevin and Leanne!
Genessa is out of our top producing and multiple Grand Champion dam SAGE Bar and our multiple Grand Champion stud DLH Yeagermiester, both very easy breeders and consistent producers. Genessa's siblings have almost all hit the showring and most have brought home at least one of the following honors- Reserve Champion, Grand Champion, Supreme Champion, Millers or Spinners Fleece Choice Awards. Genessa was destined to be a top quality alpaca and she is not disappointing. As a cria she was growthy, strong and playful - very robust. She is perfectly put together and very attractive, with fibre nothing short of ohhlala- fine, dense, uniform expression of character in tight crimpy locks. She absolutely has it all!
At one of the toughest competitions in Canada last fall, the Lloydminster Alpaca Showcase, Judge Ken Hibbits from Montara California awarded her a first place in her Class of "2 year old Fawn Females" and then in a close competition she won the Reserve Champion Fawn Female honor. He commented on her strong frame and exceptionally fine, uniform fleece. She carries on her family tradition.
You can bid on Genessa at the CNASF April 9 with confidence.
